Cycle Suffolk Project Co-ordinator

I joined Suffolk Sport as the Cycle Suffolk Project Coordinator in April 2011, after recently moving to Suffolk from London, where I worked for British Waterways as a Cycling & Walking Project Manager. I've quickly fallen in love with cycling in Suffolk - the abundance of quiet country lanes, beautiful views and convenient tea rooms and pubs keep me happy. Although I have discovered that it's a myth that Suffolk is flat.

The Cycle Suffolk project aims to get more people cycling in the county, with a particular focus on rural areas. I get involved in many aspects of cycling - facilitating social led rides, hosting WATT Bike events, supporting cycle clubs - all with the aim of getting more people to enjoy cycling in the way that I do.

As you can imagine, cycling takes up some of my leisure time, but so do football and badminton and I'm also hoping to get back into triathlon after a couple of years away from the sport.
