I was born in Suffolk and went to school in Holbrook which was a brilliant close knit school, excellent for sport too! After going to Northgate sixth form I then gained a BA Honours degree at Oxford Brookes.

I have worked at Suffolk Sport as Basketball Development Officer for over 6 years but have now changed role to that of Sports Development Officer.

My areas of work include:

• Clubs and Clubmark
• Sport Makers – the Olympic Volunteering Legacy Project
• The Suffolk Show
• The Sport Awards
• Suffolk Sport Recognition Scheme

I am still involved locally and regionally as a basketball volunteer and will be a Basketball Games Maker at London 2012.
